Beiersdorf takes over natural cosmetics label STOP THE WATER WHILE USING ME! Hamburg brands join forces for a common sustainable mission

Our Hamburg natural cosmetics label STOP THE WATER WHILE USING ME! with Beiersdorf and will in future be part of the skin care company's brand cosmos as an independent company. Of course, we will continue to spread our message for resource protection and sustainable consumption completely independently and push our purpose - to protect, save and donate the vital resource of water. We are convinced that every impulse, no matter how small, can make a big difference. The declared goal of our new partnership is therefore to implement our impulses even faster and with combined forces and thus increase our impact as much as possible. The basis of our cooperation is to create a win-win-win solution for all parties. In other words, one that not only benefits both partners but also society and the environment. In order to live up to this claim, we plan to develop joint sustainability initiatives and solutions for sustainable consumption within the framework of regular think tanks.
Our brand was founded in 2011 by Stefan Kolle, co-founder of the advertising agency Kolle Rebbe, with the mission to draw attention to the protection of our resources. Since then we have moved a lot. We revolutionized the hotel market as the first provider of refillable natural cosmetics. With 'Waterless' we developed the first waterless bar products and championed the use of innovative 'waste-to-value' ingredients. We have campaigned with our community for water conservation and donated 22 million liters of water as part of our GOOD WATER PROJECTS initiative. 2020 is now clearly characterized by impact: the aim is to achieve CO 2 neutrality for our entire product range and our entire company by the end of the year. We also have the vision of becoming CO 2 positive by the end of 2021 . We have already set the course for this in recent years. The partnership is intended to speed up these sustainable processes as much as possible – both on our side and on Beiersdorf’s side.
Our partner is also convinced that we can achieve a lot by working together. “Sustainability is a key priority for Beiersdorf.
